The best charts for Bitcoin

Looking to get into trading Bitcoin?  Then you'll need some quality charts.  And you're going to need something more than the basic display you get with CoinMarketCap.  Here are a couple of options on where to get free charts that have all the features you need to start trading.

Both of these options are browser based so they will work on any device across any platform.  And even though they run in your browser they contain the same powerful features as any desktop app and in some cases have way more functionality.

TradingView is a community of traders who share their trading ideas.  It's also a super powerful charting platform.    On TradingView you can load charts from numerous exchanges and brokers.  For example, you can load the BTC price from Coinbase.  The charts on TradingView are beautifully designed and are easy to read and understand.

As well as all the standard drawing tools, TradingView has a couple of really nice features that make it stand out.  You can set up alerts, that will ping you when the price passes a definable threshold.  You can also replay past action – this is great if you want to learn about about price action trading.  TradingView also has the most complete drawing tools.  You can add every indicator, line, brush imaginable and save templates for the future.

Once you've drawn all over your chart you can also share your trading ideas with the rest of the community.   TradingView can also connect with your broker so you can make trades through the same platform.
