eToro Lowers Minimum Deposit to $50

eToroeToro, one of my favourite trading platforms has lowered the minimum first time deposit amount to $50 in a number of countries.  I think this is great news as it will make the platform more accessible to more people.  You don't need to be rich to start investing in stocks and crypto.

Where is this Available

eToro has lowered the first time minimum deposit amount in the following countries:

  • United Kingdom
  • Switzerland
  • Italy
  • Sweden
  • Spain
  • Norway
  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Netherlands

If you live in any of these countries you can now start investing through eToro with just $50.

Trading Minimums on eToro

To open a stock trade on eToro, the minimum trade size is $50.  eToro does support fractional shares, which means for example you can buy just $50 worth of Apple shares.

If you're looking to copy trade, which is one of eToro's best features, you'll still need at least $200.  The minimum amount to copy any trader is $200.

What is eToro?
