eToro has just announced a really cool new investment product CopyPortfolios. I think this could be really profitable for a lot of people and wanted to share with you how it works.
CopyPortfolios allows you to invest in a group of assets that are bundled together. These are a great alternative investment in the current low interest landscape.
You can choose to invest in a variety of different bundles such as “Big Banks” or “Tech companies”. You can also invest in bundles of etoro investors such as “active traders”
At the moment eToro doesn't charge any management fees on this investment. Which is a big plus (and something I wish was the same with my other investments).
The entire process is automated and getting started is as easy as one click. I'm definitely going to be looking into adding this into my trading strategy over the coming months as a way to solidify my investment.
CopyPortfolios isn't for everyone – for starters the minimum investment is $5000 and you'll have to be risk tolerant as this is an automated product. There is no fund manager!
Disclaimer: eToro is a multi-asset platform which offers both investing in stocks and cryptoassets, as well as trading CFDs.
Please note that CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 78% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work, and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
Past performance is not an indication of future results.
Cryptoassets are volatile instruments which can fluctuate widely in a very short timeframe and therefore are not appropriate for all investors. Other than via CFDs, trading cryptoassets is unregulated and therefore is not supervised by any EU regulatory framework.
eToro USA LLC does not offer CFDs and makes no representation and assumes no liability as to the accuracy or completeness of the content of this publication, which has been prepared by our partner utilizing publicly available non-entity specific information about eToro.
